Cradle Mountain Tasmania

The wait is over…

As I write this blog post I am sitting in the Virgin Lounge at Sydney airport waiting for my flight to Tasmania. I booked this trip months ago as a 40th Birthday present to myself. I love living in Sydney but we just dont have the dramatic landscapes of other parts of Australia, Cradle Mountain would have to be on just about every landscape photographers list of places to visit, at last, I will get to tick it off my list… so this week will be a little quiet on the blog as I will be pretty busy with shooting from sunrise to sunset. I will do my best to get online and share a little of my Tassie experience with you as I increase the shutter count on the D800!

Today’s iCandy – The Great Wall of China

I have so many images of the great wall… it was one of those sights that was just amazing and hard to comprehend. This wall was built some 800 odd years ago by hand… can you imagine?

These are great pictures! Which reminds me… I should go through my Inida pictures and post some. I log on to your blog on a regular basis. Having read this I thought it was rather informative. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this article together. I once again find myself personally spendinga significant amount of time both reading and leaving comments. But so what, it was still worth it!

I also found a great blog of Jinshanling travel tips, I’d love to share it here for future travelers. http://www.wildgreatwall.com/how-difficult-is-it-to-do-great-wall-one-day-hike-from-jinshanling-to-simatai-west/
